OPEN Shoreditch is a coalition of local people who live or work in Shoreditch and Bethnal Green. The coalition includes representatives of the Jago Action Group, North Brick Lane Residents’ Association, Jesus Hospital Estate Residents’ Association, Spitalfields Community Association, Spitalfields Society, Spitalfields Trust, Columbia Neighbourhood Action Group, Columbia Tenants’ and Residents’ Association, Friends of Arnold Circus, Spitalfields Small Business Association, Shoreditch House and individuals and businesses in the area. OPEN Shoreditch campaigns for excellence in the quality of the built environment, transportation and amenities, and to ensure that changes to these have proper regard to the needs of local residents and businesses and the maintenance of a sustainable residential and business community.
